A monthly series of visits to interesting places. Talks illustrating Austria’s history, politics past and present, and public and social institutions.

Lectures are given by eminent historians, journalists, politicians and diplomats.

Austrian Art


Great Art & Architecture have always been been an essential part of Austrian history. We offer three Art programmes that will introduce you to our rich cultural heritage. As part of the curriculum you will also visit special Art exhibitions, art studios and permanent collections arranged with artists, curators and qualified guides.

Music in Austria

The Music Circle’s programmes include rehearsals with famous Viennese orchestras and music theatre groups, lectures on musical subjects, information on relevant musical events, house concerts etc.

Cuisine & Wine Tasting


A culinary trip through typical Austrian food, world-famous Viennese pastries and award-winning wines in traditional and historical locations or charming Austrian houses.

Applied Arts & Handcrafts


Visits to public and private collections, to ateliers and shops, will cover a range of arts, crafts and special techniques.

German Language Skills


GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSES

Every Friday online plus once a month additional conversation course in person

Advanced course (B1/B2): from 9:00 to 10:30 am

Beginners course (A1/A2): from 11 am to 12:30 pm

This course is organised by the CDA  Spouses Association from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the participation of a limited number of WA-members is possible. Costs: € 50 per semester online course, conversation course to be paid extra.
